Whether your plans get ruined or there’s a movie you really want to see that’s releasing while you’re in town, you can’t go wrong seeing a movie at the Sevierville movie theater! Also known as Governer’s Crossing 14, this movie theater is huge with several theaters. You won’t find a better place to see a movie because they have reclining theater seats! Grab a bucket of popcorn to share and your favorite drink, then head inside to enjoy the film!
2. Go Moonshine Tasting
A local favorite thing to do in Sevierville for anyone who is 21 or older is go moonshine tasting, but not at any of the uber popular places. Sevierville is a lesser known place for moonshine tasting, but you’ll find some of the best distilleries in town. One of the best is Tennessee Shine Company, and at their Sevierville location, you can actually experience their free moonshine history tour. 3. Shop at Ogle Brothers General Store
Love to go shopping? Then you don’t want to miss out on visiting Ogle Brothers General Store! Locals love visiting this store because it has a wide variety of products you just can’t find anywhere else. Get your favorite outdoor apparel, or find the perfect home decor for a gift. There’s handmade pottery, food and drinks, delicious candies, toys, and so much more.
4. Play a Round of Mini Golf
One of the top favorite things to do in Sevierville for locals is to play mini golf at Ripley’s Old MacDonald Farm Mini Golf. This golf course is located at the front of Five Oaks Tanger Outlets, so it’s pretty easy to spot! Choose from an easy, medium, or hard course, and make your way around the barnyard as you step up to the challenge of each hole. Friendly farm animals will greet you and interact as you play, and if you get a hole in one on the last hole, you’ll win a free game!
5. Race at Nascar Speedpark
On the hunt for something exciting to do? Then you’ll want to visit Nascar Speedpark while you’re in town! You’ll find several go kart tracks, for young kids all the way to adults, where you can fly around the curves and race friends and family. After you’re done racing, try one of the carnival rides, a round of mini golf, or play games in the arcade!
6. Dine at Holston’s
Of course, after all this playing you’ll have worked up an appetite. And where do the locals go to eat? Our restaurant, of course!
